Aviation Summit

Yesterday’s aviation event held at the Belfry in Cambridge brought together councils from the east of England to discuss UK Plc need for a new aviation hub to ensure growth. Representatives from several airports also attend such as the owners of London Stansted. The event was being led by SASIG & TfL with outline proposals regarding the locations of a new hub airport being discussed, along with associated transport routes such as new high speed rail links. The presentations and discussions were very engaging as we’ll as informative. The session ended at 1pm followed by sumptuous lunch. A morning well spent!
